Contents of Omega 3
The salmon oil in our production is treated very gently. We cooperate with local suppliers of salmon. When the salmon is delivered, we treat it as fresh goods – which ensures clean and fresh quality throughout the process. All salmon used in the production is used within 48 hours of gutting. What makes this possible is the short distance between the salmon production and the salmon oil production – it’s literally a stone’s throw away.
The unique production process of Omega 3
The oil in Omega 3 is extracted by way of natural enzyme processes. Enzymatic hydrolysis is the release of Omega 3 from the salmon meat – where the meat is broken down with enzymes, just like when it is ingested. No chemicals are involved in the process, which means that your get the pure, naturally fresh Omega 3 oils with all their benefits intact.
Omega 3 – high levels of antioxidants
Omega 3 is a naturally red Salmon omega 3. The vibrant colour comes from the naturally high levels of the antioxidant astaxanthin. In other processes, this antioxidant can be harmed during refining and must be added in later – this is not the case with Omega 3. The antioxidant is connected to the fatty acids of the product in its natural form and does not need to be added in later thanks to the “Fresh Release”-technology. The antioxidant contents of Omega 3 are almost twice as large as in any other Omega 3 product.
